I grew up in Connecticut (US) and spent large periods of time in upstate New York, Ohio, and Vermont before moving to Berlin in 2006. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember and the results have either been absurdly dark or vaguely humorous. Underground comics were and continue to be a huge part of my artistic development and inspiration.

Chronic sketchbooking is a nasty habit I picked up about six years ago and a majority of my work is pen and ink, though some of those pieces evolved into digital creations. Recently I moved away from the purely black and white pen and ink work that I was used to and started painting with acrylics on found pieces of wood. I constantly return to the ideas of the obscure, dark things that make us laugh, wince, or simply look away despite the media and material.
